The Community Chorus of Florence Oregon performs two concerts a year: Spring and Christmas - often performing at the Florence Events Center in early December and early May. The following members sang with the orchestra:

Laura Merz
A native Florencian, Laura has been involved in performing arts since childhood. With a Masters in Music, she has directed many choirs, including Community Chorus of Florence, Oregon, Florence's own vocal jazz ensemble, FloTones, and the Florence United Methodist Church Choir. Laura also continues her love of musical theater by directing plays for The Last Resort Players and is the Music Director for this fall's LRP production a The Sound of Music. She teaches piano, voice and music theory and can often be found in Siuslaw School District music classrooms as a substitute teacher.
